Dear HCC Eagles,

Welcome to the start of another exciting fall semester at Houston Community College (HCC). Whether you are returning to continue your journey or are joining us for the first time, this semester represents a new chapter filled with opportunities, challenges, and growth.

I am grateful you have trusted HCC as the place to pursue your education. We do not take this trust lightly; the decisions we make throughout this amazing institution are done with our students in mind. We are doing all we can to make your time at HCC meaningful and positive. In that pursuit, we continually examine our processes and procedures, our services and technology to ensure that nothing distracts you from your goals. Your success is our success, and we take it very seriously.

As you go about your studies, please take time to form new friendships with your fellow students and deepen relationships with your instructors. As you do so, enter conversations with an open mind. Be willing to share your experiences and engage with others. Remember, your efforts here are not just about acquiring knowledge or a credential, but also about discovering your potential and what you can achieve.
