HCC harnesses latest technology as it prepares to reach deeper into its alumni network

HCC Alumni Affairs will soon partner with PeopleGrove to foster a deeper connection between Houston Community College and an estimated 2 million+ alumni and former students that reside in the Houston area and beyond including around the globe.

PeopleGrove is a platform that fosters professional development and networking by connecting alumni with mentors and peers. Providing opportunities for networking, career support, and mentorship helps maintain strong alumni relationships and supports ongoing engagement with the college community. PeopleGrove ensures personalized, ongoing career support tailored to the needs of alumni and peers.

HCC Alumni Affairs invites recent graduates and alumni to reconnect with Houston Community College as the institution has resources and services such as industry networking through career & transfer fairs, resume & personal statement assistance, small business support & mentorship, fast-track credentials & certificates, associate & bachelor’s degree programs, as well as the institution’s plans to foster a deep and long-lasting relationship between fellow alumni through the HCC Alumni Association.

“The partnership with PeopleGrove will enhance the ways alumni interact with each other as well as streamline how they access timely resources and services”, said James Mable, Interim Director of HCC Alumni Affairs. “In addition, we will be able to reach deep into our alumni network to offer support to alumni actively pursuing their careers as well as explore opportunities for alumni to support our students as they complete and transfer.”

HCC Alumni Affairs plans to launch the PeopleGrove alumni engagement software later this year.
