New year, new adventures at HCC

As 2024 has come to a close, let’s reflect on the incredible journey we've all been on – whether you’re a current student or alumni. From celebrating milestones to overcoming challenges, we've faced it all with our “Eagles Soar” spirit. We've seen our alumni thrive in their careers, make a difference in their communities and continue to inspire us all.
There are amazing happenings taking place at HCC! From HCC’s Global Online College set to launch later in 2025 to our record-breaking alumni achievements – like Chef Felipe Riccio receiving the highly coveted MICHELIN Star rating for his culinary skills in November and Avey Etaghene’s journey from HCC to Stanford to impact the world with AI.
Houston Community College is truly making its mark in various industries! And let's not forget the countless memories made on campus – the late-night study sessions prior to final exams, the 2024 commencement ceremonies and graduates receiving a complimentary alumni association t-shirt, and the lifelong friendships forged along the way towards completion of an HCC credential.
As we begin the new year, we're filled with excitement and anticipation. We're eager to see what new heights our alumni will reach, what innovations will emerge from our institution and how we can make a positive impact in the world. We also look forward to providing an update soon on the progress being made to further enhance the alumni experience at Houston Community College.
So, as we raise a glass to the past year and toast to the future, together, let’s harness the power of our alumni network in 2025. We're more than just alumni; we're a family, a network of support and a force for good.
