Students who Received a B

Dear HCC Eagle,

We noticed that you selected the “Pass” option for one or more of your Spring courses even though you received a letter grade of B. A B grade is still very strong and may be helpful for your GPA. Additionally, if you plan to transfer to a different university in the future, keeping the letter grade can help to ensure you get credit for taking the course at the transferring university.

We encourage you to reconsider your choice and go back into the MyEagle student portal to change your grade option back to the B grade instead of “Pass.” Please do this ASAP as the deadline to submit your grade option is 5 pm today, May 22.
