Adrienne Garber
Senior Strategist for Higher Education | Dell
Adrienne Garber is a Senior Strategist for Higher Education at Dell Technologies. She has been improving teaching, learning and technology in higher education for the past 15 years. She has an extensive background in instructional design, faculty development, program assessment, and education technology project management.
At Dell, she supports strategy development for higher education leadership in five keys areas: student and institutional success, teaching and learning, research, security, and IT infrastructure. Prior to joining Dell, Adrienne was the Associate Director of Instructional Design at Columbia University, designing and building online degree programs for the School of Professional Studies in areas such as Applied Analytics, Bioethics, Narrative Medicine, Sports Management, Strategic Communications, and Technology Management. She is a certified peer reviewer for Quality Matters, an internationally recognized quality assurance review process and certification for online and innovative digital teaching and learning environments.
Adrienne is also a licensed attorney with experience in corporate finance for emerging companies, technology transactions and intellectual property. She was a Fellow at Columbia Technology Ventures, the IP development department at Columbia University. Before joining Columbia University, Adrienne contributed her research and development skills to innovative technology projects and grant-funded research at both Carnegie Mellon University’s Field Robotics Center and Language Technologies Institute.
Adrienne earned her B.S. from Lehigh University, an M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University, a J.D./M.B.A from Duquesne University, and most recently her Ed.M. from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her interests include workforce development, industry partnerships, and artificial intelligence for personalized education
