Myra is an AWS Machine Learning University Senior Technical Program Manager. Myra has been a major leader in the planning and launch of worldwide education initiatives in conjunction with colleges and institutions for over five years at Amazon. Myra has cooperated with higher education and workforce development programs to build comprehensive credentialing and degree-granting programs in new and emerging technologies to equip students with in-demand job skills. Myra has also worked with several international skills and competencies qualification agencies (i.e. Pearson, ESCO, ECTS) using research methods to define core skills, knowledge and abilities required for seven in-demand occupations. Myra is originally from Aguas Buenas, PR where she completed her k-12 education. Her cultural background and personal path into technology drive her passion to empower underrepresented, marginalized, and low-income student groups with access to educational programs that enable them to acquire in-demand skills that provide them a competitive edge in the labor market to create an more equitable and diverse technical talent pipeline. Myra is an author and  an international public speaker; she holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, a Master's degree in Education, and a Master's degree in Business Administration;
