Students who Received a C

Dear HCC Eagle,

We noticed that you selected the “Pass” option for one or more of your Spring courses even though you received a letter grade of C. We wanted to reach out to make sure you understood the pros and cons of selecting “Pass” over your letter grade. “Pass” will not count toward your GPA, so if your C letter grade would be beneficial to your GPA, we would strongly encourage you to go back into the MyEagle student portal and change your grade option back to the C grade. If you prefer to not have the grade count toward your GPA, then no further action is required and your “Pass” option will be submitted.

If you do want to change it back, please do this ASAP as the deadline to submit your grade option is 5 pm today, May 22.
