Digital Access Centers
The Digital Access Centers are all-inclusive spaces for students in need of digital learning support and will provide tools for digital literacy and academic success. The Digital Access Centers bridge the gap in the digital divide by utilizing furniture, fixtures, technology, acoustics, and other current, innovative design features to enhance the ultimate learning experience. The 10 Digital Access Centers are strategically located at campuses across the HCC district.

- Desktop access for resources on the HCCS network
- Laptop access for mobility and flexibility
- A quiet location to study, take online courses or exams
- A place to congregate with classmates to study and problem solve
- A place to meet with HCC instructional support staff

Houston Community College (HCC) was selected by the American Association of Colleges and Universities for its inaugural Institute on Digital Equity. HCC has been opening all-inclusive digital access centers on its campuses across the region. Each is equipped with furniture, fixtures, technology, acoustics and other innovative designs to provide a comfortable, accessible place for those seeking to obtain digital skills.
