Math & Reading College and Career Readiness Classes

Math College and Career Readiness (MCCR 0310)

MCCR 0310 is a non-credit course that focuses on improving Math proficiencies.
It is designed for high school graduates or GED® completers who score below 316 on the Texas Success Initiative Assessment for Math (TSIA level 1 or 2) and want to enter an academic course of study.
There is a $60 non-refundable registration fee that is not eligible for payment with Pell Grant or any other form of federal student aid. All HCC fees are subject to change.

Reading College & Career Readiness (RCCR 0310)

RCCR 0310 is a non-credit course that focuses on improving Reading & Writing proficiencies.
It is designed for high school graduates or GED® completers who score below 332 on the Texas Success Initiative Assessment in Reading, 310 or below in Writing, or have a score of 0-1; or no writing sample on the TSI Writing component (TSI level 1 or 2) and want to enter an academic course of study.

There is a $60 non-refundable registration fee that is not eligible for payment with Pell Grant or any other form of federal student aid. All HCC fees are subject to change.
