Why did you enroll at HCC Coleman College?
I enrolled at HCC Coleman College because of its strong reputation in healthcare education and its commitment to providing hands-on learning experiences. The college’s location and resources also made it an ideal choice for me.
Why did you choose your program of study?
I chose the Occupational Therapy Assistant program because my experience as an ESL teacher in Vietnam ignited my passion for helping others, and the OTA program allows me to continue making a difference by improving individuals' lives.
What do you like best about your college experience?
What I like best about my college experience is the supportive community. The professors and fellow students are always willing to help and collaborate, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.
What do you like best about your program of study?
The best part of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program is the hands-on training and the opportunities to learn from guest speakers, which broaden my understanding and allow me to apply knowledge in real-world settings.
When you are tired, what motivates you to push forward?
When I’m tired, my family's unwavering support and belief in me, along with the encouragement from my friends and boyfriend, motivate me to keep striving towards my goals.
What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Stay organized, manage your time effectively, ask for help when needed, and take care of your mental and physical health.
Any final thoughts?
My journey at HCC Coleman College has been incredibly rewarding, helping me grow both personally and professionally, and I'm excited about the future opportunities.
